Shipping by other than USPS
Shipping and receiving in the Chicagoland area including Indiana is a waste when using the Post Office.
I only ship by FEDEX or UPS (United Parcel Service) for the time the Postal system is failing.
They are way under productive having items shipped back and forth for thousands of miles until received
I have found a true timeline in shipping using FEDEX for the time being.
UPS for the vey larger items since if damage they tend to find a remedy very quick.
FEDEX has the HOME DELIVERY which lets you insure to about any value
The lower cost FEDEX has insurance up to $100 for most of us sellers who meets the requirements here on eBay

·5 months agoI have had very little problems with the USPS so I continue to use them. Prices are also reasonable. I would use FedEx or UPS for much larger and heavier packages however with the adjustment charges it tends to not be useful to many individuals. If you feel comfortable using FedEx and UPS and your customers are willing to pay more that's fine. It varies by seller.

OP5 months agoIf the buyer had previous problems with the postal system, they choose the alternate way in shipping. FEDEX HOME is more expensive than their standard shipping by letting them insure the item for more than $100.00. In my area the postal system us the worst since the retirees had left. The replacements just go there to get a paycheck. Better bosses are needed and their cries they are shorthanded is bunk. Nobody wants to work these days. My family had worked there and know
