shipping 9x12 stiff envelope with tracking
what is the framework/procedure on my seller portal for shipping a 9x12 stiff envelope with tracking. I am sending a strip of rubber sheet (1/16" thick, 6x12" dimensional) so assume 4-6 oz total weight. I have my own envelope so want to pay and print shipping and label at home through eBay and then drop off at post office if that makes sense.

·4 months agoAssuming this is a sale, you are given all the options upon sale in the Seller Hub under awaiting shipment, as ur required to provide shipping dimensions, weight & service prior to listing.
If you are trying to only obtain a shipping label for an item without a sale, ebay does not provide for that. You would need another service such as Pirate Ship or the USPS directly.

·4 months agoYou weight the item with your home scale. You then go to the transaction under "orders" and click "Get Label." Type in the weight and measurements using USPS and select Ground Advantage. Print the label and then drop it off at the post office. Tracking number is sent to the buyer when label is printed. Make sure that the clerk scans the tracking so you have the item in possession of the USPS. Do not just drop it off cause you wouldn't know if or when that tracking will get scanned.
