Shipping
I have a large set of books. Together they weigh 191 pounds. It will take 4 boxes to ship this set. I’m looking for suggestions. I prefer to send them through USPS because I live in the boondocks. How would I set up the listing and can I print multiple labels? Thanks for any suggestions. Glen

·2 years agoYou can print up to 5 labels per transaction. Assuming you are shipping Media Mail, you can determine the flat rate for each box based on weight, add up the cost for all 4 boxes, then set up a flat rate shipping. Keep in mind you'll pay eBay fees on that ship cost so you'll want to factor that in.
Are you sure the set is worth selling? They're not encyclopedias, are they? Stuff like that can be tough. Make sure you do some research before going through all the effort.

OP2 years agoThey’re not encyclopedias. It’s a rarer set of Japanese culture books. There is one set on eBay for sale in Australia for $1700.00. Plus $400.00 shipping.

You might not want to use Media Mail due to the value (?) but if you change service that makes it more tough since other services are zone-based. Below is the advice I typically give when using a zone-based service (rate table would be most applicable for a 4-box shipment).
Don't forget to check out Product Research - you can check past 3 years worth of sold data.

Unfortunately the system does not allow an option for setting up calculated shipping on multi-box shipments. Buyers need to be shown ship cost upfront; you can't invoice for higher shipping after the fact. Some general workarounds we sellers use:
