What I do to figure out an exact shipping cost the buyer will pay... I go into the item, click on shipping options, enter in the country and/or postal code, and click "get rates".
This is not what you, the seller pays though. Factor out your handling charge (if any), and in general I figure eBay upcharges a seller 10-15% depending a bunch of factors.
This will not work if the listing has "free shipping" (of which there is no such thing in reality). In that case use eBay's shipping calculator and figure in the eBay upcharge of 10-15%.
You can check shipping prices using eBay's shipping calculator. Note that you can choose to see either retail ("In store") or eBay prices. Shipping services are priced by distance (except for Media Mail) so you can't get an exact figure without knowing a buyer's ZIP Code.
If you are looking for an EXACT number, that won't happen because, before it's sold , you don't know how much the buyer will pay, nor do you know his delivery address and whether or not his state collects state sales tax and how much that would be.
Your eBay Final Value Fee is calculated on at least those three figures.
