·9 months agoI'll add that IF the online tracking doesn't update correctly and you have a nagging buyer, you can call or go to the PO with the tracking # and they can check the back end system and tell you where they are.

·9 months agoThat happens now and then. Worse they can't correct it on line. Once had a buyer go nuts over that. Message your buyers and explain they clicked delivered instead of picked up but it won't affect delivery.

·9 months agoIt happens occasionally. Caused by a hand-held scanner set for a Delivered scan instead of an Accepted scan. No need to explain all that to your buyer unless he asks about it. This has no effect on the package travel or its eventual delivery and the tracking will update normally once later scans occur.

·9 months agoYup, just yesterday I took a package to my local PO and the postmaster, Myron, accidentally did a "delivery" scan instead of an "accepted" scan. He immediately rescanned the package and it's on its way to the buyer. Minutes later I got the eBay notification that the item had shipped, and about four hours later I received the notification that it had been delivered. Subsequent tracking updates are proceeding normally.
(ETA: This is going to one of my regular buyers, so I immediately messaged him about the error. Funny thing is, last night he left me positive feedback for this purchase, even though he hasn't received this package yet!)
