I just found out about this and wanted to share amidst the shipping fiasco. There are of course limitations and rules but maybe it will help someone out. I saw it in the shipping policies when you list an item - it is an option to choose.

From a prior post - regarding the shipping issue - There is definitely something wrong with the shipping via eBay over the last few days. An item that used to cost say $5.27 to ship, cost $7.30 to ship. When you go to their Shipping Calculator, the true prices are displayed - link is here https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates (it took me a while to find it so I wanted to save others the pain and post it).
I called eBay about this and 5 calls later, after several disconnections and having to deal with the chat bot, I finally got through to a rep and got credited back the difference for shipping. The rep indicated there is an issue and they are supposedly working on it.

·3 weeks agoThere are many in depth discussions of ESE on this forum, and they include an analysis of the requirements and packaging suggestions as well as the experiences of sellers who have found it to be useful and other sellers who find the service to be unacceptable.
I tried it, had a 25% problem rate, and refused to change my packaging to improve my results. It required more risk of damage and more time spent trying to avoid it.
