Selling to a Canadian buyer
I've just had a buyer in Canada purchase a pair of jeans.
She paid the $18 postage. When I printed the label, it doesn't show her Toronto home address, but rather a PO Box in Smithtown NY?
How will it get to her? Is her home address embedded in the bar code?

·4 years agoIt sounds like you bought an Ebay International Standard shipping label, not a USPS label.
That Smithtown PO Box is an Ascendia shipping location.
Ascendia will slap a new label that has the Customer's address and the Customs form you filled out onto the package, and it will go on to Canadian Customs and final delivery from there.
Ebay International Standard Shipping uses USPS for domestic delivery to the location where the international shipping service (DHL, Ascendia, SkyPostal, etc) takes over.

·2 years agoDo you know how long it takes when it’s at that Smithtown PO Box? Ascendia is telling me they don’t have a pickup location there and my package has been sitting there for a month now
