I have just listed my first two items the last two days. My shipping policy is for calculated shipping. But eBay has put a flat rate on both items. And when I try to revise their flat rate they put on back to calculated it won't change. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what eBay is doing? eBay has offered no fees on my first 5 listings. So are they just recouping their fees by doing this with the shipping where I will end up paying higher shipping fees than the buyer is going to pay me?

·4 months agoForgot to mention when you put in the weight and box size - round up - so if the box measures 12 1/2" x 9. 1/4" x 7 1/4" - the correct box size is 13 x 10 x 8 - always round up both the box size and weight.

·4 months agoThis is only true for UPS and FedEx, for USPS you round to the nearest inch. So in your example you would use 13x9x7 for USPS. Do note though that printed box sizes are usually interior size so always measure the exterior and round from there.

·4 months agoSign out, and then go look at your listings - when you are signed in, it shows what it costs to ship to your zip code.
The Keen's - to ship to me - $7.73
The Skecher's to ship to me - $7.26
