Seller provided questionable tracking number that shows delivered, while I did not have it.
Hello, here's the situation:
I bought item on ebay. seller is clearly chinese, but in description he said item will be shipped from USA. it had 100% positive feedback so I don't mind even if it will be from china and it will be late.
first, I had to wait 2 weeks before he shipped an item (I guess he transported it from china to us?), and then I got this tracking number (look at the picture)
Is it possible that in 3 days package went from china to us, passed all customs and got delivered in my address? Is this realistic?
Signature in the proof is not ours, also, item dimensions are smaller than actual item. Package is also 0.7kg while item itself is at least twice heavy.
Seller is not responding any more.
What should I do? I feel like since he provided tracking ebay will automatically resolve in his favor.

·1 year agoSomething coming from China tracking may not show up for a few weeks...I have gotten items like every month and couldn't get the tracking.
So, I have had 'freight forward' buyers where I am shipping a standard envelope to another country.
Which mean item received can be anything which one receives.
I look at the end of tracking...Delaware...sometimes freight forward to a country.
Would seller have sent item out only for it to go back to seller on purpose?
Really strange tracking to say the least.

·1 year agoThat is odd. It appears that it landed at a freight forwarder. Unless you asked it to be, open a 'Not as Described' Return.
If and when you receive a return shipping label, put a copy of these notes in the package that you send back. (Obviously, receiving nothing is 'not as described' at face value.) You'll receive a refund after the item is returned to the seller.
If you haven't received a return shipping label after 3 full days, go into the case on Day 4 and escalate the claim to eBay. You'll be made whole. Good luck.

OP1 year agoYes, I am overseas and I use freight forwarder, but I do so for 9 years and from 10 000 items, I can remember 2 or 3 times only, when tracking shows delivered but I actually have not received it.
I really want to be fair, and just curious, what will happen if I open item not received case? Will it be automatic decline or ebay will actually look that it was shipped 2 weeks late, dimensions and weight are different, and it come from china in 2 days?
