Seller Protections are in place for sellers impacted by extreme winter weather
A historic winter storm and extreme cold are impacting large areas of the South and Northeast. Severe weather and its aftereffects across much of the United States may cause shipping and delivery delays.
Your safety, and the safety of those close to you, is what matters most to us. That said, we understand you may also be worried about possible delays with items already on their way, or challenges getting sold items to your carrier.
If your business is impacted, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:
- Your late shipment rate
- Your valid tracking upload rate
- “Item not received†cases due to late delivery along with any related Negative or Neutral Feedback as long as you uploaded tracking before the case was opened, and have a physical scan from the carrier
- Defects resulting from transactions you cancelled
We’re also updating delivery date estimates as needed to give your buyers the most accurate expectations. And, rest assured, we will continue to actively monitor weather conditions and service impacts across the country and update our community as needed.

As always, thank you for selling on eBay.
