Seller opened a case on my return?
Hi all, I recently purchased a big brake kit for my car (used and in need of repair). The seller was helpful and listed defects with said items. When the package arrived the box was essentially crushed and one of the calipers was missing due to ups not handing it well at all. Talked with the seller and he agreed to refund the items with a return. This was on a Thursday, I sent the item back the following Monday due to a busy schedule. Item was delivered confirmed through the tracking and I have a case open now from the seller. It is currently pending according to ebay. Is there anything I should do or need to do? Any help is appreciated thank you!

Did you actually open a Return request and returned the items with the seller's shipping label?

OP5 months agoYes I did. He offered a partial refund for the missing item or a full return. I opted for the full return as it would be as much as the listing to replace the one part. Also thank you for the timely response! @mtgraves7984

Excellent! If the item has been delivered, you should receive a refund as the seller approves receipt. IF the seller hasn't refunded after a couple of days, be on the lookout for a button to 'Ask eBay to step in' to appear through the case. If it goes that long and you escalate it to eBay, you'll be refunded immediately. Good going and good luck.
