Seller offers international shipping, but I'm unable see it in the listings.
Hi,
I inquired the UK seller regarding the possibility of international shipping through eBay's GSP. Although the seller had mentioned eBay's GSP in the item description, the international shipping option and it's costs
weren't visible in the listings. He told me that he ships internationally via GSP and also sent me discount offer on that item, which I accepted.
Afterwards, the order went to 'committed to buy' state, but I still couldn't see the international shipping costs, and thus, completing the payment was impossible. The 'Request Total' option wasn't working due to the requirement of immediate payment. The seller agreed to cancel the order and relisted item without immediate payment requirement. but it still didn't work and I wasn't able to complete payment.
I frequently make international purchases from the UK using eBay's GSP and the seller said that he hasn't had this problem previously. As a buyer, is there anything I can do to make the transaction possible, or does it solely depend on the listing settings made by the seller?

·3 years agoHey @jarome-68 - as rfmtm said, it's either the seller's settings on the listing or it's an item that's restricted by GSP due to things like import rules, size/weight, value, etc.
If the item is eligible for import and not oversized you can ask the seller if they're willing to offer a direct shipping method, but other than that there's really nothing you can do.

·3 years agoEither seller has something not set up right or the item is not importable to the USA. Nothing you can do on your end to resolve this.
