Sell one like this shipping issue
When I use the sell one like this feature, when I get to the shipping portion of the listing, It will not let me change the package dimensions to my own. My packaging for certain product is bigger than what is automatically filled in and it wont let me change it. I make changes, hit apply and it goes back to the dimensions that are pre filled not by me.

Back in November there was a post on this forum in the 'What's New' section from the Selling team about some changes they made to the listing flow, including defaulting shipping to match the listing you're copying from when using 'sell one like this'. Unfortunately this change has not been without issue.
Another seller that consistently used 'sell one like this' over the years found their listings in auto parts were defaulting to media mail when they used 'sell one like this' from another seller's listing. They were used to the system bringing in their own shipping options and not copying the other seller's shipping options so they were surprised to see their listing reflecting the other seller's shipping choice of media mail (obviously, car parts are not eligible for media mail).
My suggestions @charjohn-9673 :
1. Use business policies. That should bypass the shipping issues you're facing using 'sell one like this'. If you want to get set up with biz policies, let me know and I'll offer a tutorial to get you started.
2. Don't use 'sell one like this' - create a new listing and use the other seller's listing as a reference point for category. Yes, I realize this entirely defeats the purpose of saving time using 'sell one like this'.
I don't have any better suggestions for getting around the problem. You can report the issue to customer service and hope other sellers are doing the same. The more reports, the more likely eBay is to pay attention.
