eBay sent me this message today:
Review USPS adjustments made to eBay Labels

Dear Cristian,

The United States Postal Service has applied cost adjustments to one or more shipping labels purchased on eBay. These adjustments were charged on May 5, 2026.

You can view these adjustments by visiting your Manage shipping labels dashboard.

And it shows a list of things I sold with extra charges. Do I have to pay that, and how do I pay it, or is it already paid?

EBAY will automatically take this money from you, either from your "pending funds" or your "bank account".

To avoid getting hit with these charges in the future, I would add "extra inch or ounces" just to avoid this problem. Also, you might want to invest in a new scale.

And if shipping costs keep going up, honestly, I don't know how we're going to sell anything.

It is already paid.

If you are getting these frequently then either your scale or your ruler has a problem.
