reprint of label multiple times
Summary: selfmasteryplus experienced issues with browser updates affecting label printing, resulting in accidental multiple purchases of postage labels. They requested refunds from USPS and expressed concern about the refund process. redmodelt clarified that refunds take about 15 days and go back to the original payment source, while advising to reprint instead of repurchasing labels. rfmtm suggested canceling labels directly through eBay, providing a link for assistance. selfmasteryplus expressed confusion over the process and considered changing browsers.
It appears that the last browser update altered the size of my label to print. With that frustration on Monday I guess I kept repurchasing a label over and over again, like 3 times trying to get it to print correctly. I requested through USPS to refund those labels mistakenly printed. I got charged for all of them and Ebay debited my checking account so I OWED money for my sale on Monday.
Now, when and if USPS refunds that money, where does it go? Will I have a credit in my account? I doubt Ebay will do the right thing and send it to my checking account.
Frustrated!!

·2 weeks agoYou do not request a refund through USPS, you must cancel the label on ebay if that's where you purchased them.

OP2 weeks agoThank you I canceled both of the labels, hope I isolated the correct label. I had printed 3. All 3 showed I had sent to buyer? So 2 were wrong. Very confusing and frustrated.
What Browser does everyone use on Ebay? I think I will dump Brave and go back to
???

·1 week agoFirefox has proven to be a long time very reliable browser for use with ebay. It is free and runs on every OS.

·2 weeks ago · EditedTakes about 15 days and refund should go back to payment source, watch for it there. The refunds come from USPS not eBay.
In the future, just reprint the label don't make new ones. There should be a message on the label page for doing that.
