When you say you had to purchase a new label, that should mean that you had to pay for additional coverage. The tracking # that you printed is still the active one UNLESS you used the wrong class of mail. Example, you printed MEDIA mail and it has to go priority mail or parcel or first class mail. Then you need to get a whole new label. The media mail one should be voided immediately. Go to My Ebay, then my Orders and then SHIPPING LABELS. Find the transaction and void the label. AGAIN, VOID IT ONLY IF YOU HAD TO RE-BUY AND REPAY FOR THE NEW LABEL. Do NOT void if you just paid a few dollars more because the weight or the dimensions were wrong.
Also if you had to void the label, do NOT forget to write the new tracking number on the order and let the buyer know what the new and correct tracking # will be.
I looked at your listing for the bronze urn @findersbekeepers. You charged for a 2 pound priority package.
The problem is twofold:
1. That package would weigh much more than 2 pounds.
2. That 12x13x9 urn will be in a box that's over a cubic foot once packed and subject to dimensional weight charges.
In order to charge buyers the correct shipping weights you need to enter the final, packed weight and box dimensions in the form before you list.
You are undercharging postage on the crystal champagne bucket and bombay vase, too. This needs to be corrected if you don't want to lose money shipping those.
If you didn't use the label purchased on eBay you have 5 days from purchase to void it:
Also - find that original order on this page and underneath the tracking number click the edit button. You can't remove the original tracking number, but you need to add the new tracking number from the label purchased at the post office.
Maybe I'm asking questions you already knew, but did you weigh the package on a scale and measure it to enter the dimensions on Ebay's shipping tool? The shipping fee you first see can change dramatically once the numbers are entered. Politely asking....
