Purchased a $.78 ebay USPS shipping label for an item resembles a silver dollar in weight & feel. I want to change to USPS ground advantage that offers tracked shipping before posting the item. I expect to pay the difference.
Summary: n.am.potosi is concerned about their shipment, as the item resembles a valuable silver dollar, which may tempt theft. Although they initially purchased a $.78 eBay USPS shipping label, they want to upgrade to USPS ground advantage for better tracking, even if it costs more. mkaczorsee advises voiding the first label, which takes 3-4 weeks for a refund, before purchasing a new label. n.am.potosi appreciates the advice and is considering it.
After thinking about the problem, I feel the item I want to ship will be felt in transit and be mistaken for a silver dollar (which could be quite valuable) and possibly pocketed by a dishonest person. The item I'm shipping is worth less than $20, priced at $19.50. Even though I paid for the $.78 eBay shipping label and downloaded it, I want to pay the extra money to ship by USPS ground advantage that offers some tracking, up to the point of delivery. So I want to pay the extra money, if possible, to obtain a USPS ground advantage shipping label from eBay. Is that possible?
