Problems with delivery to ebay international seller hub in Glendale Hills | Shipping

I sent my package to the Center by Fedex. Fedex confirmed delivery on May 29. I relaxed. A few days ago my nightmare started. Buyer in Mexico (I do not ship to Mexico, ebay decided to do it with this mechanism) complained that he had not received the package. For some unknown reason I was unable to complete the correct tracking number from Fedex in the ebay system. I have all the documentation from FedEx. Apparently the package went to the Domestic hub instead of the International hub and ebay made no effort that I know to find it. Bottom line. They refunded the full price to the buyer, did not find the package and said they will charge me the full price, keeping all the ebay commissions. I have been a member of ebay for 25 years with an impeccable reputation. I feel totally disappointed by the company. Any advice on how to deal with this? Thank you.
