Priority shipment trick against the sellers
It is numerous times when I sell $2 or $3 light-weight items (20-50 grams) and eBay forces on me "priority shipment" sleets for those items with shipment prices ranging $8- $15. So, eBay wants me to pay $8 for a shipment sleet for shipping a $2 value order, when I, in advance, had already listed a fixed $4 shipment fee for the buyer to pay. When I ask the buyers why did they need a "priority mail," buyers contend that they didn't (have the facts saved), that eBay's "micromanagers" are tricking that way, the ones who also monitor our posts and delete if we disclose their ugly actions. When I rightly change the "priority mail" ($8) to regular Ground Advantage ($4) and ship the order with my adjusted shipment sleet, two days after, eBay comes after me and charges me the difference of $4 as "underpaid shipment adjustments" just because I refused to obey to the nonsensical tyranny by shipping in the way eBay micromanagers like to mock us. eBay may be micromanaged by hooligan snowflakes who have no emotions but have emoticons, who have no education but excel in petty malice. Luckily, I am from a different world and standards that they will never be able to understand. I don't care of the consequences of this post. What will I lose anyway?

·1 year agoI've said it a 1000 times, well maybe not a 1000....but we are all in the shipping business more than we are in the selling business. Doesn't matter what you sell, can you ship it accurately to the customer without failure and additional costs? Just look at Amazon, they aren't in the selling business, they are in the shipping business and they do it d^&m well!!

·1 year agoYou are using fixed price shipping which means you are charging $4 to ship anywhere in the USA. If you want your buyers to pay actual shipping then you need to set up for calculated shipping.

No ebay does not force anything on seller's shipping methods, they suggest it. You can offer more than one shipping method and let buyers choose which one they want at check out. Before you started selling 6 months ago you should have done more reading There is a whole section in the Getting started information on how to ship, methods to choose from, and how to set up shipping rules you can select from when creating listings.
Do keep in mind that when you set up shipping rules the first method you select will be the one that shows on a listing. You can state in your Seller description, how many options you have available for a given item.
Ex: There are two shipping options for this item, USPS Priority Mail and Ground Advantage. Make your selection at check out.

"When I rightly change the "priority mail" ($8) to regular Ground Advantage ($4) and ship the order with my adjusted shipment sleet, two days after, eBay comes after me and charges me the difference of $4 as "underpaid shipment adjustments".
As a seller you have to ship using the shipping method shown on your listings. I you state Priority only, that is what the buyer paid for and how you should ship, even if you did not charge enough. Because you changed the method ebay took the cost difference from you.
Why are you giving measurements and weights using the metric system? You should use Inches - Lb.s or Oz.s Those are how you get calculated prices for USPS, FedEx, UPS, in this country.
In looking at some of your listings, it appears that you are guestimating the shipping costs. You can use calculated shipping for all of your items. To do that you need to select your box and packing materials. Pre- pack the item, but do not seal the box, then measure the box and weigh it. You can use a digital scale to get the correct weight. They are not expensive but you should get one that will handle the weight of the heaviest item you might sell.

I have shipping rules set up for my listings. They are labeled; Light Weight Items up to 5lbs P & GA.
Heavy and/or Large Items, P & GA. Local Pick up, plus P & GA. Domestic & International shipping USPS International Priority.
FYI, All of your listings have international shipping listed on them. (screen shot below)
Which means that buyers from the countries have on your Ships to; list can see and buy your items. However, you only specify domestic shipping costs. Do you really want to ship to; Afghanistan, Algeria, Albania...?
If you only want to ship to the 50 U.S. states you need to select Ships to United States only. You do not need to enter Excluded countries.
If you are willing to ship to U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands..., you can add them to your list and ship to them using the regular USPS shipping services & calculated shipping. There are no customs forms that need to be filled out for U.S. Territories.

You're from a different world all right. TAKE SOME ADVICE from those of us who reply to you. Most of us have years of experience using ebay as both buyers and sellers, and we know how ebay works. Calling any of us volunteers, or ebay employees names is no way to get help on these board when you need it. And you do need a lot of help. Considering how much information you did not take the time to learn about, before starting your selling career on ebay, I could easily cast aspersions and conjectures on your antecedents because of that.
You owe @albertabrightalberta an apology.

"eBay forces on me "priority shipment" sleets for those items with shipment prices ranging $8- $15."
Ebay doesn't "force" any shipping method on you. If your listing shows priority mail, that's because YOU chose it. (If priority mail shows as the default, just change it to ground advantage! Easy peasy.)
"When I ask the buyers why did they need a "priority mail," buyers contend that they didn't"
Again, it's because YOU chose that shipping method! It was the only one shown so the only method buyers could choose.
"When I rightly change the "priority mail" ($8) to regular Ground Advantage ($4) and ship the order with my adjusted shipment sleet, two days after, eBay comes after me and charges me the difference of $4 as "underpaid shipment adjustments" just because I refused to obey to the nonsensical tyranny"
Please post a listing (item number) for which you had a $4 shipping charge and were charged for underpayment. Please state the weight of the package and the dimensions. It sounds like you might have chosen priority mail or used priority mail packaging with a GA label.

OP1 year agoThis is MORBIDLY ABUSIVE and I am planning to find this moderator and refer her to the law and enforcement. "This eBay "damage control" associate, albertabrightalbera, removes my responses. Let's see if she will remove this one again, third time. If this is an open forum, then why eBay does not accept criticism? Meantime, the war of "underpaid shipment fees" against me continues. " SICK environment.

·1 year agoNo, she isn't. The original poster has some odd ideas about everybody here being an eBay employee.
They also think their buyers are under-cover eBay employees pulling a scam resulting in shipping cost adjustments. Might be the strangest eBay conspiracy theory I've heard to date.
This thread is a duplicate / continuation of what they posted yesterday:

The board moderators are not Ebay employees and they remove post if it violates board guidelines.
It's not a war against you, you need to figure how to set up the shipping correct.
