Price of shipping label changed within hours
Yesterday (1/28/26) a shipment that was calculated for $7.16 in the 1/27 "You made the sale" email from ebay rose exactly one dollar when I opened the order to purchase the label (USPS Ground).
I cannot figure out why the label cost me $8.16 especially since none of the variables changed (to/from zip codes, weight, box dimensions, shipping type, etc.). Online help said it must be "user error" but I only clicked to get to the order screen. My item was pre-packed so nothing had changed.
And, yes, I ended up buying the $81.6 label just to get the product to the buyer but it made me wonder if this has happened to anyone else and what recourse you took??

Hey @alwaysmauidreaming! Thank you for reporting this issue. We are aware and are working on a solution as many sellers have reported that when trying to purchase shipping labels, sellers are receiving an error and did not provide the label for the order but were charged to their PayPal account.
There is an open ticket under ALERT16439 and I will be sure to update as we get new status updates.
