Potential customer in Italy saying global shipping isn't coming up as a postage option
It certainly is on all my for sale items including the one he's interested in. There are no destination restrictions.
Is it his specific address which is the problem. I just did a search on it and it's genuine. A media company based in Milan.

·1 year agoThe US uses EIS - eBay International Shipping not Global Shipping but ...
EIS, and im sure Global Shipping, has restrictions on what they will and will not ship.
Sometimes it is the $ amount of the item.
Sometimes it is the countries restrictions.
I dont know Global Shipping requirements but Im sure you could look on your home site.
A lot of the time it is by category and costs.

·1 year agoThat specific listing does not offer shipping outside the UK @objects-of-intrigue . I suggest editing the listing and checking the shipping settings.
Most of your book listings do offer global shipping through GSP.

OP1 year agoYou're right. I had no idea my free postage items weren't shipping internationally. Well at least I know now!

·1 year agoIf you provide the item number we can check to see what the listing shows @objects-of-intrigue however since you're shipping from the UK, you'll probably want to post this over on community.ebay.co.uk - here on the .com forum most of us are in the US and we use eIS (eBay International Shipping) not GSP (Global Shipping Programme).

·1 year agoI have the option of having you ship by Global Shipping to the US on at least some of your listings.
If there are restrictions on shipment of these items to Italy, you buyer will not have that option.

OP1 year agoWell the item is a photographic book so there shouldn't be item restrictions. A retail photographic book with an isbn number.
