·Sep 18, 2026 at 12:06 AMDid they send it with a normal USPS shipping label? Normally the shipper is slammed with a shipping adjustment if the weight or dimensions are off through the APV system.

Second -- a question:
Have you already paid the $7.60 postage due to the US Postal Service (USPS)?
If you did, the transaction is complete. Neither the eBay seller nor eBay, Inc., itself is legally required to reimburse you. You voluntarily paid the extra money to take delivery of the thing you purchased.
If you have not already paid that postage due, you can choose not to pay it and ask the USPS to mark the package Refused. The USPS will return the item to the seller and HE will have to pay the postage due.
If you refuse delivery, you should immediately file an Item Not Received (INR) claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) program, citing as the reason "Postage Due."
eBay considers "postage due" as a valid reason for a buyer to refuse delivery, and eBay will refund the full purchase price to you.
