Possible scam
So I sold some high end Disney collectible recently. I received a message today from a buyer who received their box 9 days ago, yet just now messaging me that the box was damaged and item destroyed. Then requesting I pay half the money back in 1 message, and then requested I pay them only $80 in another message. Definitely feel like a scam.
They sent me a pic of the box. But it doesn't look bad enough to cause that much damage A, and B, why request only half and then even less??? I'm at a loss here as things do NOT add up!

·1 year agoSelling to Disney collectors can be incredibly frustrating. I had one person claim a LE pin I had sold them arrived damaged with no damage to outside packaging. I was forced to allow a return. I discovered upon receipt of their return that they had switched out their defective LE castle pin for mine. Those pins were notorious for not closing properly. The hanger card was also considerably bent. Fortunately, I had taken many photos before shipping, so ebay funded their return and I reported the Buyer and blocked them. I put a warning to Disney scammers on my listings now.
