Please Test My Shipping Rates
Summary: mcdougle4248 requested help to test their new calculated shipping setup, expecting specific shipping behaviors based on the number of items. thriftyfiftyfifty tested and confirmed the shipping settings worked as intended. They discussed the possibility that shipping charges might be low but suggested observing over time and potentially adding a handling fee. mcdougle4248 expressed appreciation for the assistance.
I switched from fixed rate to calculated shipping this morning. Would someone please test my listings and report the shipping charges when adding 1, 2-5, and 6 items to the shopping cart? It does not matter which listings you choose.
Here is what I expect if I have done the setup correctly:
1 item- Zone-based GA with eBay discounted rates for 3 oz
2-5 items-total shipping charge should stay the same as 1 item when additional items are added to the shopping cart
6 items- should change to free shipping.
Thank You So Much!

·3 weeks ago · Edited@mcdougle4248 Yes, it is responding as you say. The more I add, each Item becomes a Pro-Rated Shipping Cost (like a Calculated Shipping Rule in place). At the 6th Item the shipping is in fact Free. I used both a Rural and Non-Rural Zipcode in two completely different Zones to check and there is a variance...Curious, you must be passing your Discount with some kind of percentage as well or something? P.S. Let me know if you want screenshots via a Message, fairly lengthy.

Regarding your curiosity question, I have no idea. This is all new to me. Do my shipping charges seem too low? I intentionally did not add a handling charge.
ETA: My free shipping discount on 6+ items is done under the marketing tab.

·3 weeks agoNot really because of the lightweight items...you may eventually over time depending on number of items purchased and Zone. You would have to see based on a number of orders and then you can always adjust or add a small Handling Fee. No real drastic loss that I can see though.
