Pirate says delivered, Ebay says in transit. Should I refund.
I have a buyer from China who opened a item not received case. The Pirate tracking says arrived in destination, delivered. The tracking on Ebay says arrived at destination country, however it does not say delivered it says in transit. Should I refund this buyer?

·2 years agoSounds like the package was delivered @mozartbach1971 . Go to parcelsapp.com/en
On that site plug in the tracking number.
On the right side column you will see more tracking details, such as the last mile carrier and tracking in the buyer's country.
As long as you can confirm it was delivered then proceed with the INR case without refunding.
You might want to contact customer service and provide them the parcelsapp link with more tracking info since eBay isn't populating the full data.

I'll contact Ebay about this, however I don't want to risk getting a defect by disputing it. If the customer service rep can't say it was delivered then I'll go ahead and refund it.

OP2 years agoI looked it up on the site you gave and it does not show as delivered. It says arrived at destination country.

·2 years agoIf it shows as delivered, just respond to the INR case with the Pirateship link to tracking. Add in the comment section, "according to tracking #(fill in the blank), item was delivered on (date) at (time)."

·2 years agoI have a similar case. Mine is in Delaware freight forward. Tracking saids ongoing to next destination...last date October 20th. Tracking was only for Delaware. Buyer lives in Armenia. Tracking won't close. Buyer already left positive feedback for items received. I guess my buyer is an honest buyer.

·2 years agoWhy refund, it is still moving. If they file item not received just go back to case and enter the tracking # again.

I think it's around a month from the last scan date.

·2 years agoSo it's an issue of EBay's system not pulling the full/final data from the carrier's tracking site?
