Pip insurance
Is pip insurance reliable? I filed a $25 claim 6 weeks ago and havent heard anything except my claim is being processed. Are they making it difficult so I will just give up on the claim ?

·3 years agoI have filed two claims for this and have never had a problem. I have been paid in a week each time. I guess the key is having all the paperwork filled out properly when you submit the claim.

·3 years agoPIP? Personal injury protection? Isn't that part of a car insurance policy? What does that have to do with ebay?

·3 years agoThat happened to me before. When I reached out to PiP, they said the buyer never replied to their inquiries. Of course PiP could have been more proactive about keeping me informed, but why would they?
I ended up needing to email them a few document and got paid. My claim was over $300.
I hope that helps.

OP3 years agoI never got paid. They were uncooperative with me saying they didn't get what they needed, blah, blah. I think if they can find a way to not pay a claim, they would jump on it. Back to usps ins for me. Cost more but worth it.

·11 months agoI am waiting on the same issue. They told me the buyer didn’t respond. However shouldn’t there be some sort of respects between PIP and eBay. If the buyer files a claim for a lost item that should be sufficient. I refunded the buyer weeks ago and PIP just gives the runaround. I just sent a bunch of supporting documents and hope it works out. The item was also over $300. EBay says this is supposed to be cheaper and seamless. It isn’t! I think USPS insurance would have been simpler.
