PayPal account for eBay shipping
At some point I’ve obviously added a PayPal account to eBay but I no longer have access to it and don’t have access to the email address. I’ve created a new PayPal account but can’t seem to be able to find how to remove the old one from eBay or add the new one. This is purely so I can buy Royal Mail labels through eBay.
anyone any ideas?

·2 years agoHi @the-upside-down . I suggest connecting with PayPal customer service to see if there's a way to verify your ID, change your email and regain access to that account.
You have to log in to that PayPal and revoke the eBay authorization to remove the account on eBay. Once that's done, eBay will prompt you to link a new PayPal account after a 24 hour waiting period.
This is the way it's been ever since eBay launched managed payments and I don't know any other way around it.
P.S. You're on the .com forum. For this issue the process should be the same, but for future inquiries you may find the .co.uk community is more relevant.
I don't think it is necessary to add PayPal when paying for your labels.
You just need to scroll to the bottom of the Ship your order page and click Paypal and save for future purchases.
