Package marked as "delivered to agent" and ebay issued the customer a refund
Hello,
I recently sold an item to a customer. I shipped it within the handling window as promised, and on the day of delivery, it was marked as "delivered to agent" according to USPS tracking. The customer opened up a case with ebay saying they did not receive the item, and ebay issued a refund to the customer. The same day that the item was supposed to be delivered, I received a text message from an obvious phishing scam claiming to be USPS stating that the package arrived to a warehouse due to incorrect address.
Has anyone dealt with an issue like this? How was it resolved?

·2 years agoYou need to contact customer service and appeal. If you shipped to the address on the order then there's no reason the claim should have been found against you. "Delivered to agent" is in official eBay policy, counting as "delivered" for INR claims.
Send a DM to one of eBay's social CS teams: ebayforbusiness on facebook, ebayforsellers on insta, askebay on X
If you need it, send a link to this post from an eBay rep to support your appeal:
