Package did not arrive and no one will help.
Summary: mibr-9698 described issues with an order that was delayed beyond 30 days, preventing eBay from offering assistance. The package never arrived, and when they contacted the post office, they received a package with the correct ID but incorrect details, which they did not accept. krazzykats and christworks both suggested filing a chargeback as the only recourse, noting that eBay's 30-day policy does not allow exceptions.
Order # 09-14955-93257. Yes, I know it is more than 30 days old but please hear me out. Order date 7-27-26. Expected arrival date 7-29-26. Seller contacted me and informed me that the product was coming from Japan and would not arrive until August 30th. I decided that would be OK. By the 30th of August it had not arrived. I tried to contact seller but eBay said order was over 30 days old and no help could be given. I reviewed the item with a negative response. The next day I looked at tracking and was told Estimated Delivery Update was now 9-5-26 and this included a USPS 22 digit I.D. number. 9-5-26 and no package. I went the Post Office who assured me the package would be at my house 9-6-26. A package with the correct PO I.D. but wrong name, address and not the item I ordered was delivered and I did not accept it. 9-7-26 I went back to the PO and was told that the I.D. number was in error and there was nothing they could do about it. I want my money back!

30-days is 30-days. There are no exceptions to that. Not sure why you think you should get an exception when nobody else does, both other buyers and sellers. You made a choice to wait and choices have consequences. The consequence here is that eBay can no longer help you. I'm sorry.
Your only option is to file a chargeback. There isn't a guaranteed outcome by doing that but it is your only option.
