Hi all, looking for advice from experienced sellers. I shipped an item on June 5 via USPS, and it reached the buyer's local sorting facility a few days later. Since then, it's been getting scanned in and bounced back out to different sorting centers daily instead of moving toward delivery. The buyer contacted me asking if I could help and I filed a Missing Mail search request with USPS this morning.The buyer hasn't opened a case yet, but I want to get ahead of it. Should I message them proactively with the USPS claim number and ask for more time, or is it better to just wait? At what point (if any) would you consider offering a refund rather than letting the claim play out? Want to make sure I'm protecting myself from a possible INR case while also being fair to the buyer. Thanks in advance.
