OUCH, make sure you check Dimensions and lengths
I got lucky, customer ask about a Large tackle box I have listed, I double check and forgot to check the dimensions, found out 3 sides were under 1/2" so I rounded down, July 12th USPS started rounding up, almost cost me $60 in shipping.

·2 months agoGot to be aware of the changes. Before, the 16x12x9 box was fine. But now that box would be a 17x13x9. That equal 1989 cubic inches. USPS also lowere the divisor for dimensional weight, it is now 133. So 1989/133 = 14.95, so this box would go out at the minmum of the 15 lb. rate.

OP2 months agoGot so into figuring out the new rural rates it just slipped my mind. Figure I might not be the only one. Spent an hour remeasuring all my tackle boxes and pull 15, profit is gone on those.
