Order details never updated that my order was available at pick up point | Shipping

So I ordered a jacket liner from the US which meant that the shiping was expensive but worth it as could not find the same in EU, only poor reproductions that dont even fit a the original jacket top so after ordering it and once in a while checking on my order details to look at how the order is doing now im angered seriously for only now realising that the order details never updated the actual order details that to actually see I would have had to click track package for and it looks like my package arrived at pick up point last month!! But now it has been sent back as I never knew it arrived! I had no confirmation message be sent in my gmail nor sms. What can I do?? Why did not my order details show the actual details of my order?â€ƒI paid so much for ebay to fail at a so so simple task as telling me my order details!â€ƒâ€ƒ
