Orange connex?
Hi, not familiar with orange connex delivery process.
Will the item be handed over to the USPS and placed in the mailbox OR, will this orange connex deliver directly to the address as we got a lot of porch pirates.
What if no body is home? Will orange dude take it to the facility and create more complications?
I couldn't find any info or help documentation either on ebay or the orange thing site but saw several posts on reddit from frustrated people with orange connex.

·11 months agoIt may depend on which Orange service you are using. If it's just shipping and not including fulfillment I would guess that they hand off to USPS for last mile delivery using the USPS Parcel Select service. This type of service in generally referred to as Zone-Skip
I ship using this type of service but I am using OSM. In the past I use the same type of service through UPS but they got in a tussle with USPS and their service is no longer good value.
Delivery times are generally good, there are more hands involved which can slow things down a bit but on the other hand you avoid the issues with USPS along the route as the packages are handed over to USPS at the destination facility and usually delivered the next day.

·11 months agoIf you ".. . get a lot of porch pilots", may I suggest that you either invest in a box at your local post office or find a way somehow to have your purchases delivered to a more secure address?

OP11 months agoThank you. I have no issue with USPS or door to door delivery by fedex or UPS. Orange Connex does not specify how it delivers items.
Thank you for the recommendation however, it is similar to stating even though guns are readily available and accessible by criminals, one should invest in purchasing a bullet proof vest if they want to eliminate probabilities of injury when shot at.

My suggestion was that you consider taking action to, hopefully, prevent that.
If you don't mind the PP, OK continue as you are.
You might want to keep this in mind: When tracking shows your item has been delivered, but you don't have it and you file an INR case with eBay, you will lose your case. eBay doesn't offer refunds when an item is stolen from your porch.
