·1 year agoWhen I sell multiple fixed price listings to a single buyer, I let the buyer know that they will probably be asked to pay for each item separately (which is weird, because I don't have "require immediate payment" selected). This will require them to pay shipping on each individual item. Combine the items, weigh the package, print the label, and subtract the amount you paid for shipping from what buyer paid for shipping and refund the difference, less any handling fees.

I prefer items to be purchased first.
If multiple items are purchased and shipped in one box...each and every item should have the same tracking number so they don't say only one item was received....with tracking.

Wait to see what they purchase. I've had Buyers tell they have wanted up to 21 of my items only to back out.
-If they are sending an offer on one then just accept it so they can pay.
-If your items require immediate payment and your Combined shipping is set to add all shipping costs then you can refund the shipping overage AFTER you have packed everything in one box and have a final weight and dimensions.
-The paid for items will be in your Awaiting shipment - print shipping labels file. In that file use the Check boxes on the left of each item they purchased ... then at the top of the list is a print label drop down menu and select Print shipping labels. ALL checked item will be opened in the Bulk label flow.
-In the Bulk label flow use the check boxes again on the left and then click the Combine link at the top of the list.
-The page will update and over on the right you can enter the new weight and dimensions of the box that has all of the items, review and print your label.
-If you want a receipt it is a secondary print function on the Bulk label flow page.

·1 year agoIf you have any other discounts working on any of the items this buyer wants, the "Request combined shipping" link will not be available to them......(a quick check shows it was available on items i checked)---> also, I don't think it's available on mobile.....
the most accurate way to do this is to create a new listing just for this 1 buyer with the shipping weight and dimensions entered for the total items (entered by you when you create the listing)..
buyer pays and you ship
alternatively, you could refund the difference....
OR
you could learn how to apply shipping rules to your items (it can get complicated)

·1 year agoThe buyer can place all the items in their cart and request an invoice. Pack it up & get the actual shipping charge, you can add for the box and any packing, and then put that amount on the invoice to send back.
Or have them purchase the items and you refund the difference in what they paid for shipping and what it actually costs. This is what I do.
Remind he buyer the first option, however doesn't secure the items for the buyer until they pay.
