Off the wall USPS random shipping rates
I ship a lot of 4oz parcels and some 6-80z ones. I have recently noticed that my usual 5.87 for the small ones ranges from 7.46 to 8.50, had a 2oz one right here in FL 303 miles away from me $7.30 WTF AZ, AL & MI SEEM to be the worst for me shipping here from FL 33954 Is anyone else having similar issues AND can you recommend a different shipper, pirate ship, shipwave etc to ship lightweight packages CHEAPER THAN USPS & EBAY

·1 month agoI've come to expect that just about any package under 1 pound is going to cost at least $7 no matter where it is going in the lower 48 states. I've adjusted my listings to reflect that.
The post office which is losing billions a year has to make it up somewhere. When we see these increased costs it's not some error or glitch. It's reality. When diesel is now well over $6 a gallon and a lot of mail is transferred by truck then you know the cost is only going to keep going up.

OP1 month agoTHE entire state of AL, AZ & MI AR NOT RURAL, USPS has removed the commercial discount from these areas....I'm looking for an alternative shipper that just might be cheaper...
