No way to send a buyer a return shipping label.
Summary: lakegirls refunded a buyer on eBay but now faces difficulty sending a return shipping label since eBay closed the case upon refunding. kensgiftshop advised purchasing a shipping label outside eBay, while 44012 suggested sending postage money via PayPal or using Pirate Ship to create a label. dryophelia confirmed that labels can't be sent after a refund and also recommended Pirate Ship. rfmtm echoed using PirateShip for a Pay-On-Use return label.
I gave my buyer a complete( with all shipping eBay costs, tax etc,) refund. Ebay says they are sending him the refund and the money is available to him. He would like me to send him a return label. I would love to do that and I will pay for it. There seems to be no way to do this. I have called corporate and talked their computer, but they could not understand the problem. It seems the buyer and I agreed that I would refund him, but we were texting back and forth when I told Ebay to send him a refund. So I normally would have the buyer ship back to me and they would pay for the shipping and then I would send the refund. So my question is. How do I send this guy a shipping label when there is no dispute or It doesn't show in my returns or any way to do this

Once you send the refund, you an no longer send a label.
The label has to be sent first, when the item is returned, the seller then issues the refund.
I think you can go to pirate ship and send a label to the buyer. Hopefully, if that is not correct, someone will be along to give a better answer.
Just so you know, the seller only refunds the sale+shipping, eBay refunds the taxes.

·2 weeks agoCan you send him the postage money via PayPal and have them use the funds for the postage?
OR
You can try to use Pirate Ship. I believe you can purchase postage there and then you would download and then send to your buyer via email. You may have to create an account. (For the record, I don't use PS but have read this option is available to use to send labels to customers).

If the buyer is willing to return, you'll have to buy a shipping label outside of Ebay and send it to them.
