'No International Shipping' isn't working/Buyers shipping to USA warehouse and then out of country?
My account settings are for 'No International Shipping', but several sales lately have been to a warehouse in Illinois and then out of country? There are abbreviations on the shipping address labels ie EIS(Ebay International Shipping Program) and evtn (for items mailed with Royal Mail Service) that have popped up recently. I never heard of Royal Mail. How is this allowed when I have selected only USA shipping? What is my responsibility as a Seller for packages that are leaving the country? A package that I mailed on Sept. 9 shows a delivery date in Dec. to Canada? Has anyone experienced this or have knowledge of it? Thank you

·1 year agoHave you just come back from an extended break in selling? "eBay International Shipping" (eIS) has been a thing for a couple of years now. Qualifying sellers were opted into the service by eBay and it's basically up to them whether they wish to remain with the service.
Sellers love the program because its protections and risk-management are better than that for a domestic sale, so long as the seller adheres to its terms and conditions. Buyers have mixed feelings at best about the service for various reasons ranging from its slowness to the fact that they have to pay for two sets of shipping charges, one of which you don't see as a seller.

When you use the eIS service, you're not shipping internationally, but to a hub within the United States. You may be thinking that "international shipping" and "international selling" are the same thing, but to eBay, they're not.
As to your query about Royal Mail, that's one of the postal services in the UK. I'm not sure how it fits into the scenarios you're describing, though.

·1 year agoeBay International Shipping is an eBay freight forwarding service.
When you ship to that address, you're not shipping to an international address, but to an address in the USA.
Don't know what's going on with the December delivery date in Canada, sorry.

·1 year agoI believe you must be opted into eIS somewhere down the line. I also believe you have to opt out in order to have this not happen. It doesn't matter if you have no international shipping marked. If you are opted into eIS then the order will ship to a hub (for now in Illinois) and then the original tracking number will change as it is routed through the system with the other country's deliver service carrier.
I don't know how to opt out unfortunately so perhaps someone else will answer this question if you are looking to opt out.
My last order to Canada took about 2 months to get there. It is a mess with shipping times to Canada. It took 2 months to Thailand and 2 weeks to Germany. Just some examples.
