new account buyer.
Hi community, I have an issue. I have a buyer that ordered & paid for two items with two accounts that were opened today. (maybe Guest accts.?) Same name & address but different eBay "handles." Of course eBay bulk labels will not let me combine. Messaged buyer with no joy. What is the best way to proceed. I am afraid if I print a label for one item ebay will not allow adding that tracking number to the other item. Kinda' stumped other than sending both separetely. I would really like to combine & be able to refund this buyer some shipping $$$. Thank You - You Guys Are Great.

OP5 months agoThank You everyone for your input. Of Course you are all correct. Two accounts = Two seperate labels. I suppose that I was trying to be a bit too helpful. Both items have been bagged & tagged and are ready to go to out to our P.O. in the AM. Two orders - Two packages & Two tracking numbers. Thank You all Again!!

·5 months agoI’ve had buyers do that same thing quite often. I just print up the labels for each item. Some buyers just like a bunch of packages delivered, I guess.

Stop trying to break the rules to benefit the buyer.
You are already taking an above average risk on these transactions.

·5 months agoIf it's two accounts, you can't combine the orders.
You'll have to buy a label for each order.

OP5 months agoAlso, If this is this buyers first attempt at eBay buying - I wouldnt' want him to have a negative experience.

·5 months agoHe has created his own "negative experience" by opening two separate accounts and expecting you to combine shipping.
Personally, would consider blocking him after these transactions are over and done with.

·5 months agoFirst, the buyer didn’t request to combine, the OP seems to want to combine the orders to help out the buyer.
Perhaps the buyer decided to buy with separate guest accounts because he doesn’t want to create an account.
Why block ?The buyer didn’t do anything to deserve being blocked.

·5 months ago100% - no reason to block. Heck - this might turn into an amazing buyer. Two items in one day might turn into dozens of items a year. Better to tell the buyer to sign up for an eBay account/use one ID to save money on shipping.
