Never received item and 90 days passed
Hi all,
I purchased items on June 9th, 2025 from a seller. The seller sent one item out of the lot, and the rest of the order still shows as not shipped. Originally, I had contacted the seller, and he said that he had heart issues etc and was working on the order. These are hand made painted items, so I said OK, hope you are well, will ship later. Fast forward to March of 2026, I messaged the seller that I will be reaching out to ebay to refund me as the items never shipped. No response from the seller. 90 days have passed and I can't find the item. Ebay customer support is now all automated and cannot help me. I am going to go to my bank to cancel that transaction on credit card? Is there no way any customer support person on ebay can help me?

·4 months agoHate to break it to you but it's not just 90 days since your purchase. It's been 10 months and you're waaaay past the time limit to open a claim.
You may have a bit of luck with your credit card, bank or paypal, depending on how you funded your payment.

·4 months agoListen you made a huge mistake in the process of trying to get a refund. You waited too long. Sorry. You are given 30 days through Ebay and 180 through payment source usually. That's it. The seller is no longer obligated to refund you. Ebay will just say your time has expired. The next time you have an issue where a seller doesn't ship out look at your "estimated delivery date" then one day after file an "item not received" case. Do not wait cause time is limited to file a claim.

·4 months agoNo, 30 days after the last estimated delivery date, Ebay will no longer be any help.
It might even be to long for any help from your bank.

·4 months ago'June 9th, 2025'....'dispute with your credit card...probably won't work.
You can try...but I doubt it.
You only get 30 days MBG from eBay...not 31+ days.

·4 months agoYou had 30 days after date of delivery to open an item not as described case, or an item not received case, not sure which applies here.
After that, you had (usually) more time to do a chargeback with your card. Not sure any card gives you more than 180 days.
At this point, there's nothing that customer support can do for you.
Sorry.
