Never Received Ebay Authentication Center Item
So disappointed at ebay authentication service, it was shipped to them as mandated but didn't pass the SIZE inspection...
When I first got the failed report (around 6/6), I was surprised it says the actual size is US 4 and it didn't match my listing as size EU39. And when I checked the inspection report again today (6/14), it shows my item actual is US 6. I was like REALLY? (quick fact, A European size 39 in men's shoes is typically equivalent to a US size 6.5)
The real question is I never received the returned item from Authentication Center.
They never sent me any shipping confirmation but an email today saying that the item was delivered back to me today and asked me to refund buyer.
After I reached out to the ebay to step in, I got someone from the authentication center asked me to contact USPS to get a misdelivery proof on their letterhead in order to proceed my case. (oh, they also forced to close my case at the same time and took the fund, $700).
What should I do now, ugh... extremely frustrating... anyone experienced before? Any advice please?

OP1 year agoThis is the first time I’ve heard that USPS provides misdelivery proof - maybe I was just lucky before. My missing item case was closed because the tracking showed it as delivered.

·1 year agoYou need to go to your local PO in person with the tracking # and have them write a statement that the item was NOT delivered to [your address].

OP1 year agoGot 2 replies from ebay and they wanted me to reach out to USPS. Is it normal? As a seller/sender, I normally do this for my buyers. So I assume in this case, it should be ebay's responsibility for the mail searching...

·1 year agoDo you have the tracking number? Then go to the PO and ask for a internal tracking scan and photo shot of the parcel. eBay can send you a email to up load the USPS documents for your case .

OP1 year agoThanks! Is there anyway to do this online or I need to go in person for this request? I submitted a missing/lost request online and a day later got an email saying tracking shows it was delivered and case closed.
