My purchase appears as delivered but haven't received, last location was Glendale Heights, IL
I made a purchase on April 12th and it appeared as delivered on May 1st. After this, I continued tracking my shipping and the last location it showed was Glendale Heights, IL. But so far I haven't received it yet.
I read other posts about the issue of being delivered but not received and also I know that Glendale Heights, Illinois is where the ebay international shipping hub is located. The problem is, we are December 17th already and I still haven't received the product. I got no information from ebay about it being shipped to my country nor I received any information from DHL or other local delivery companies about a product that was going to be delivered to my house (DHL here calls you and sends you an email when you have some shipping that arrived to the country).
They closed the return on June 1st. By that date, the product was still located at Glendale Heights, this is the place I lost track of it.
So I don't know what to do, any suggestion, idea or where to contact ebay or their Illinois hub in this regard?

And 2 if they don't give you a response you satisified with

Even though you are outside of policy, that doesn't mean you can't seek potential reimbursement, especially if they can look up that it never left eBay's possession.

·1 year agoIt's probably much too late to file an Item Not Received claim with eBay.
What was the item? Is it possible that Peru restricts importation of the item you bought?

·1 year agoYou should have filed an item NOT RECEIVED claim........You would have been refunded.
Instead you filed to return an item for a refund. You had no item to return and the case naturally closed when you never returned the item.

OP1 year agoI never filed anything, I just let everything be. The return window closed on Jun 1st and my item was still located in the international hub at Illinois.

·1 year agoUnfortunately there really isn't much that can be done. Just declare the package lost. You can try to contact Ebay using Contact Us>Chat Box> then your issue however with International shipments I know it takes awhile but 7 months it's more than likely lost. Just hope what you purchased wasn't high in value.
