My parcel could not be delivered, was sent back and simply vanished.

I am from Germany. I collect old stuff and had the luck to find a very rare object at a seller in the USA. After the buy the seller sent the item very fast. From him it went to Pitney & Bowes I guess where it was repacked. During repacking somebody made a mistake and forgot to add the street I live. I know this because I had a call with DHL. So the parcel arrived in Berlin and immediately returned back to the US. And this is where the tracking information stops. Now it simply disappeared and did not return to the sender. Month passed where I thought it still would be on its way via snail mail. But it simply was never send back to the sender. I don`t know if PB removes addresses of the senders or what happened.
Can anyone help? I would still like to get my parcel. Who can I contact for more help?

·1 year agoYou have a lot of assumptions going on, Pitney Bowes, repacking? Someone forgot to "add the street"...Pitney Bowes just powers the label generation, & no repacking going on.
Sounds like the item was shipped to EIS hub, and then on to Germany, where maybe a customs issue prevented it from entering, no idea. But at that point, for whatever reason, the item goes back to eBay and belongs to eBay. You get refunded and the seller is protected, but the package is not being returned to the seller, it is now property of ebay

Ebay will be refunding you.
You will not receive the item.
Items that ship through this program are not returned to the seller.
