Multiple charges for the same shipping label
I have been charged twice for the same shipping label and 3 times for another. Please tell me how I can get in touch with ebay to fix this problem. Thank you.

·8 months agoI am also wondering about this, as I in the same boat.
- I have my labels charged to Paypal for reference.
- Tried to purchase a label this morning. Was charged TWICE by Ebay Shipping and no label generated (therefore, nothing can be canceled.)
- Both of those non-existent labels were charged on my Visa by Paypal.
- Cannot cancel them in Paypal - as Paypal says Ebay Shipping has to cancel them.
- On the email I get each time a label is printed, there is a box that says Need Some Help? with an email. So, I used the link to email. (It's like us-ebay-shipping something or another.) Now I wait and hope they respond and credit back the two charges for phantom labels.
I will be watching this thread to see if anyone has any answers.

·8 months agoI had such a problem this morning. Paid for label, payment was taken from my Paypal account and I received a message from eBay stating
' We were not able to take the payment. Please be aware that Fedex, USS, UPS and eBay Standard Envelope are experiencing issues at the moment. We apologize for any invoncenience and if affected, ask that you try again later '.
I spoke to an eBay rep who said they expected this problem to be fixed in a few hours and I would receive a message from eBay. I've not received a message and am trying again to ship the item from this morning.
There is no mention that I have already paid for shipping.
Am waiting for a call from eBay but I have other items that need to be shipped - really hope this gets taken care of.

·8 months agoHi @josiah322blue - can you tell us if this is with labels you purchased today or labels purchased before today?
There's a tech issue going on today that eBay is aware of and working on - no need to contact them to fix.
If these were labels purchased before today, that points towards duplicate label purchases so you'd have to cancel the extra labels.
Can you provide more context so we can point you in the right direction?

OP8 months agoI was charged $5.45 three times because when I hit purchase label an error came up and wouldn’t go through so I waited a few minutes and tried again, same message. I waited awhile and tried again an it went through. I don’t understand if it didn’t go through the first two times how can it charge you. The error said funds not available. I checked my account and my PayPal and they were ok.

If you need to purchase labels today and can't get them through eBay, you can purchase them elsewhere on sites like pirateship.com or usps.com. If you can wait until tomorrow to purchase labels, eBay labels will hopefully be fixed by then; eBay prioritizes issues like this.
The financials sometimes take a little longer to resolve, but label generation I'm hoping will be fixed by morning. Sit tight for now on the charges and come back to this forum for updates.
