Mobile Issue with singular orders/purchases with multiple tracking numbers/information
There seems to be an issue with ebay's tracking for sole orders with multiple tracking numbers. I have an order that was seperated into two distinct shipments. The problem stems from when only one of those tracking numbers shows delivered, ebay also shows the full order as delivered. This can be confusing/irratating for both buyers and sellers, especially for high end purchases, as it would seem as though half of their purchase is missing, but in actuality it's just being delivered on a seperate truck/shipment at a later time. If it doesn't get delivered however for whatever reason (ie. the second half of the order is lost in transition after the first half's deliver), ebay has it registered as the full order being delivered still which could cause problems with returns/refunds/disputes.
The full order on my purchase page is showing delivered, but on the show tracking details page, only one of the tracking numbers is showing delivered. I got notifications from my phone that both of my items were delivered, which caused me to run after the truck (tmi, but barefoot down the road lol) to ensure it was just a glitch and the package that I apparently signed for wasn't missing. (turns out that it's being delivered on a seperate truck tomorrow according to fedex's tracking information.) Might be peritent to ensure that in the order's page that if there is two seperate tracking numbers associated with the item to not notify that the entire order was delivered when that's not the case.
To Note: It seems to be just an issue regarding the ebay mobile application as the desktop version is showing correct information regarding the tracking (that I'm still expecting another half of the order to arrive tomorrow)...... Just checked again a moment ago, and it seems to have updated to correct tracking information on mobile. Getting a notification of the whole order being delivered when only half the purchase was and the mobile application showing that it was for a good hour can lead to serious confusion/frustration.... (Mobile seems to have issues with persistence data being pulled from tracking information because it corrects itself half the time, but just loaded it again, and it's showing the false delivery information again)

·8 months agoI get what your saying.
It sounds bad.
Ebay would rule that all of it had been delivered as I doubt they use the app to check whats been delivered though I may be wrong, a tablet may work better on free wifi in starbucks while working from home.
Unlikely to be fixed.
To fix it would be like doing open heart surgery with chop sticks.
