Major post office mistake. Package redirected twice and arrived in wrong state
Package sent to CO was tracked to CA then to CO then back to CA where it was delivered. But it was mailed to CO. Suggesting of what I should do?

·9 months agoGo to USPS and show them the tracking# with Colorado delivery address and ask for an explanation as why it was delivered to California. If your customer opens "did not receive item" case, you will be forced to refund "purchase price + shipping". EBAY holds Seller responsible for missing or damaged packages.
Is it possible that your customer moved and had her mail forwarded to California? This would explain why item went to Colorado first and then to California.

OP9 months agoThanks to both of you for your responses I opened a case with USPS and they’re investigating why the buyers purchase got delivered to the wrong state. Waiting to hear back from them in the next few days

·9 months agoHopefully you have better luck than I did with the post office. I refunded a buyer last week for a package I shipped to Texas. It traveled from Ohio to Pennsylvania where it showed delivery to a PO Box. I refunded the buyer last week. Post office today said they are still waiting for a response from the delivering post office.

·9 months agoContact the shipper if you were the sender. If your the buyer, what does the tracking say? Do NOT file an item not received case if it says delivered. Come back here and let us know.
