Late shipping with buyer permission
Hello,
I have a buyer that agreed to late shipping. How can I notify eBay of this so I don't get dinged?
Note: Late shipping is due to my recent move. I'm not sure which box the item is in.

This problem occurs for some sellers when a buyer asks them to hold a shipment until a later date. In this case there is no seller fault, and they get the ding anyway.

·5 months ago@buffyred78 If you ship late, your metrics will be dinged, even if the buyer agreed. It does not matter what the buyer told you.
Until you have gotten settled in your new place, it would be wise to end any listings you have up. If you think you only need a week or two to get settled, you can put your store on time away and do not allow sales.

As a new seller, you don't want to accumulate late shipping dings.

·5 months agoYou still need to ship within your stated handling time or you get a late ding...you cant negotiate out of it with the buyer

·5 months agoYou can't get permission to ship late from ebay or anyone else as far as shipping metrics go. They are automated and eBay won't help you with that.
