Just got charged for a Fedex "underpayment!"
With no explanation I just got charged about $24 for an item I already payed for the label last month! It was $14 to ship it.
How do I dispute this bogus shipping charge with ebay?
I saw there was some technical issue with FedEx. Will I get the money back without disputing or do I need to file a dispute?

·1 year agoThis has been an on going issue for a while. I would not be shipping anything Fedex of UPS via ebay shipping until eBay gets a handle on it so sellers know what the shipping cost will actually be. I have a FedEx account and never have any major issues when I use it, but ship FedEx on eBay, look out!

This is what I sent to them last week, and got a "one time" refund (it wasn't the first time, I also pay $350/month to be an Anchor store, for enhanced support):
"I’m experiencing problems with shipping via FedEx on eBay. FedEx consistently rounds up to the next full pound, leading to exorbitant fees when the actual weight is entered. eBay’s shipping system should either accommodate this rounding or eliminate the associated penalty fees. Currently, I input the actual weight and pay eBay a percentage for shipping. However, when the app malfunctions, sellers are unfairly charged extra fees. Please address this issue to ensure accurate shipping costs and prevent unnecessary charges for sellers. Thank you for your assistance."
I've put in a complaint, because eBay & FedEx continually charge sellers unfairly is not okay. You'll find eBay Community Forum responses aren't fellow sellers, like me. They are put here by eBay to answer seller questions, or hang out on forums more than sell, and are not actually trying to help sellers or find solutions. So, don't get upset if they try to spin it and blame you (hopefully that won't happen).
Please read my recommendation of action here "eBay fix your system! FedEx rounding up of weight & penalties":

·1 year agoFollowing this as well. Got charged an extra 32 bucks on something that originally cost 11.73 and weighed about 3 pounds. Would have cost about 12 bucks to ship USPS. Lesson learned, I guess.
