Item not as described
Hi
Received a safe (16 kgs) in June.. Seller listed it as a model with fingerprint (biometric) but safe received was with key and code .. I started a claim with PayPal.. took some time and then I got reply that case was solved with eBay Commerce UK and that I should return safe .. then I would get my money back. The solution from PayPal did not mention anything about return postage which is £87 and exceeds the value for the safe and postage .. PayPal inform me that they do not cover return postage. It has not been possible for me to find a way to get in contact with eBay. Does anyone have experience with similar case? Does eBay cover return postage?

·3 years agoPayPal is no longer owned by eBay. Closing the PayPal case will not help. You went out of order. Always utilize eBay first and as a last resort, go to your funding source. You cannot double dip.

·3 years agoSorry, once you opened a case with Pay Pal, Ebay won't help.
If you had filed an INAD through Ebay, the seller would have to pay return shipping.
With Pay Pal, you have to pay return shipping.

OP3 years agoThanks for clarifying .. Really appreciated .. Strange there is no coordination between PayPal which is owned by eBay .. Anyway.. What if I close the case with PayPal.. Do you know if I then can open a INAD through eBay?

·3 years agoEbay no longer owns Pay Pal and they haven't for awhile now.
If you close the Pay Pal case, Ebay still won't help.
