Item either Possibly Not Shipped or is still sitting at the Shipping Facility
Hello everyone, I'm currently dealing with a situation that had once occurred last year with a eBay buyer concerning both worldofbooks & OSM Worldwide.
so to get to my situation, I had ordered an Item from worldofbooks on July 7th, I then get updated on the 8th that worldofbooks shipped my Item and that I'm expecting it arrive between the dates of the 15th & 19th, I'm given a Tracking #, says it was shipped via DHL eCommerce Solutions, so I go over to DHL eCommerce's site to punch in the # into their tracking system, I then get a message saying "Sorry, your tracking attempt was not successful. Please check your tracking number.", my first thought was "strange", so I decided to check the # over at USPS, says it was "Picked Up by Shipping Partner, USPS Awaiting Item", I then noticed that the "Shipping Partner" is OSM (One Stop Mailing) Worldwide.
since receiving Tracking, it hasn't moved ONCE, ok, I've had times where nothing has been scanned and Items have arrived without EVER being scanned (but that only happened ONCE), but something about this one has been bothering me, nothing should be sitting there this long and it's getting closer to the Estimated Delivery Date, STILL without any update in the Tracking.
so that's why yesterday I took it upon myself to first contact OSM Worldwide, they got back to me this morning with "Thank you for contacting OSM Worldwide. We have received a file for your package with tracking number from the company you ordered from, but we have not yet physically received the piece for processing." and they ended the email message with "The quickest way to resolve your inquiry is to contact the retailer and let them know we haven’t received your package. Your retailer can provide the following services for you......."
and that's what I logical did this morning, so far I haven't received a reply, but given that has only been several hours and that it could take a day before I even see a reply from worldofbooks concerning the current status of my Item.
so my end question is for those who has dealt with worldofbooks (or OSM Worldwide) in the past and has anything you ordered from have ever showed up and if so, how long did it take for the Item to show up?.

·2 years agoI am having the same problem, I don't know how long I can wait for an item they say is running behind from estimed delivery date 3 days ago. The postal service website still says USPS awaiting item.

ordered a Christmas gift dec 7, the seller listed the service as "fast shipping" and the expected date to be dec 15-19. OSM received the package dec 8, the package didn't depart their facility until dec 20. now it's expected to arrive dec 27. I'm handing a printout of the tracking history as my Christmas gift.

·3 years agoI have almost this exact same issue with WorldofBooks USA - ordered on 6/29, and the item still has not moved since then (now July 25). My first contact to worldofbooks USA just said they shipped the package on the 29th, but then OSM told me that they haven't received the package. I went back to worldofbooks for more details but have not received a response from them. Almost a week after the package was expected, I reported that I didn't receive the item and eBay asked the seller to respond. Still haven't heard anything. I have 2 more days before I have to get eBay involved to get my refund.
Worldofbooks' recent feedback is awful and it looks like the same issue is happening to multiple people - they say the item is shipped, the shipper says they haven't received it, and world of books doesn't respond, forcing people to get eBay involved to get a refund. Maybe you'll get lucky, but I think they've got some serious fulfillment issues and zero customer service, so you will likely be dealing with eBay to get a refund. I know I won't order from them ever again.

·3 years agoI would wait until after the 19th to do anything. Tracking online is not always accurate. And estimated date to receive item I would also wait a few days after that. I get items all the time outside the USA and tracking is not always accurate.
