Is there any way to offset the rural zipcode price increase besides increasing prices?
To my knowledge, there's no way to charge someone after they pay for an item and the rate tables don't specify zip codes. Am I missing something? Do they really just want to increase prices by such a vast amount that rural zip codes no longer receive orders? This is kind of a death knell for low ticket items.

·1 week agoYou're right about charging after the fact, that shouldn't even be a thought when you can simply resolve it by charging Buyers Retail Rates. Other than charging Calculated Shipping @ Retail Rates you would have to find another avenue (Flat Shipping, Across the board Handling Fee, etc.).

OP1 week agoyeah but so many items rely on being "free shipping" I got around that by using the rate tables to charge buyers in certain regions but there doesn't seem to be a mechanism for doing that with rural zip codes.
